This section describes how to implement 1+1 protection on the uplink

TDM

optical

interface.

Prerequisite

The CES service has been configured.

Context

CTLA 1+1 protection requires two CTLA cards. The working card is connected to the peer

SDH

as the working channel, and the protection card is connected to the peer SDH as the

protection channel.

The work principle of CTLA 1+1 protection is as follows:
