8 Getting Connected
8.1 Internet Browser
Your phone is preinstalled with
Opera Mini
or
Obigo
Internet browser. In
idle mode, go to
Menu
>
Web
. Use Opera or Obigo to view web pages.
8.2 Bluetooth
®
Bluetooth
®
is a short-range wireless communications technology. When
paired, devices with Bluetooth
®
capabilities can exchange information
within a distance of about 10 meters without any physical connection.
Your phone supports A2DP, AVRCP, FTP, HFP, HSP, OPP and SPP
Bluetooth
®
profiles. You can connect your phone to a Bluetooth
®
stereo
headset or non-stereo headset, transfer files with your computer through
Bluetooth
®
adpter, control some of the phone functions with the
Bluetooth
®
headset, or transfer files with other Bluetooth
®
devices.
Note:
Your Bluetooth
®
connection may experience interference caused
by certain obstructions or other electronic devices.
Turn Bluetooth
®
on or off on your phone
Go to
Menu > Settings > Bluetooth
®
> Switch on/off
to turn Bluetooth
®
on or off.
Make your phone visible
Go to
Menu > Settings > Bluetooth
®
> Visibility.
You can choose to be
visible or not.
When your phone is visible, and Bluetooth
®
is turned on, all other
Bluetooth
®
enabled devices within range can detect your phone.
Create a Bluetooth
®
pairing

Go to
Menu > Settings > Bluetooth

>My Device > Search new
device
to search and view other
Bluetooth
®
enabled devices.
