Connecting to a local Wi-Fi network
Pull down the Notifications panel and press the Quick Settings
Panel to quickly switch Wi-Fi on or off.
1.
Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi, switch to On .
2. Tap Wi-Fi to view available networks.
3. Touch a network name to connect to it.
NOTES : Previously connected networks will connect automatically.
If the network is secured enter the password.
Get Notified of Open Networks
1.
Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi .
2.
Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
3.
Touch > Advanced > Tick Network notification .
With Wi-Fi on, you are notified of open Wi-Fi networks. Clear the
check box to turn off notifications.
Add a Wi-Fi Network manually
You can add a Wi-Fi network manually if the network does not
broadcast its name (SSID), or to add a network when you are out
of range. You need to know the SSID, encryption and password.
1.
Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi .
2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
3. Touch + to add a new network
4. Enter the Network SSID (name), security or other details.
5. Touch Save .
