When you first switch on your new San Francisco II (or if you’ve reset it to Factory
Settings – as explained in

sorting out your phone settings

in this guide) you need to

select some settings before you can use it.

In the welcome screen, change the display language if necessary and tap get
started.

Configure the date & time settings and tap next.

Learn the functions of important buttons on your phone. Then tap next.

Learn how to use the touch screen with different finger gestures. Try them out
and tap next.

Learn how to use the touch screen keyboard. Tap skip or try the keyboards
out and then tap next.

Tap skip or set up email on your phone and then tap next.

Select how your phone accesses the Internet and tap next.

Tap set up a Wi-Fi network to connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network, or tap
skip.

Tap finish.
