Connect to a Wi-Fi network

1. Tap

Home > Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings

The available Wi-Fi network names and security settings (open or
secured) are displayed.

2. Tap a network to connect.



An open network will automatically connect,



If you select a secured network you need to enter a password.

Check the Wi-Fi network status

You can check the Wi-Fi network status from the status bar and from
Wi-Fi settings.

1. Check the

icon in the status bar.

2. Tap

Home > Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings

then tap the current wireless network to view the network status.
