Installing the USIM Card

Your USIM card stores your phone number, service details, phonebook and can store text messages. It
must be inserted into your phone to use these services.
If the USIM card is removed then the handset becomes unusable until a valid USIM is inserted. The holder
for the USIM card is located underneath the battery.
Your USIM card can only be used in handsets that are enabled for 3G services. Any attempt to use the
USIM card in other handsets may prevent you from being able to use it correctly.

Note:

Make sure to disconnect the charger and other accessories from your phone and remove the battery before inserting and

removing your USIM card. Don’t touch the metal surface of the USIM card in case that information in the card may be

lost or destroyed. Do not bend or scratch your USIM card. Keep the card away from electricity and magnetism.
