Troubleshooting
This section describes how to troubleshoot some problems when they occur to your phone. If you cannot deal
with them, contact your local dealer.
1.
“Enter PIN 1” is shown when the phone is switched on.
Input the PIN 1 or input the new PIN 1 if you have changed the code. The code can be set “OFF” if you do not
want to input.
2.
“Insert SIM” is shown when the phone is switched on.
Turn off your phone and make sure that you have inserted a valid SIM card.
3.
No key tone when pressing keys.
Check the keypad setting in Profiles-personalise.
4.
No incoming ring tone.
Check the ringing tone and ringing volume settings in Profiles-personalise.
5.
No alarm tone when the reminder time reaches.
Check the Profiles setting and the alarm ring setting in Profiles-personalise.
6.
A phone number cannot be dialed.
Check whether call restriction is set to the number.
7.
A phone call cannot be answered.
Check whether call restriction is set to the number
8.
Short message cannot be sent.
Check the Message centre setting in the Messaging-Msg Settings menu.
9.
Some menus related to voice setting cannot be used.
Check the Profiles settings.
