Note : Before using WAP, you must select and activate
the connection method of the WAP service.
2. Press the left soft key “ SELECT ” to carry out
“ Activate ”, “ Edit ”, “ Rename ” or “ Delete ” on your
selected connection method.
3. You can “ Edit ” the following aspects of your
selected connection method:
- “ Homepage ”: to enter the web address (URL)
you wish to use as your home page.
- “ Display images ”: to set whether to activate the
display image functions.
- “ Connect Type ”: to set as either “ Temporary ” or
“ Continuous ” depending on the gateway.
- “ Secure Setting ”: to set connection security. It
can be set as “ None ” or “ Secure ” depending on
the gateway.
- “ Bearer ”: to set the carrier method as “ Data ” or
“ GPRS ”. We do not recommend the data method.
- “ Data Settings ”: if the “ Bearer ” is set as “ Data ”
then the next neighbouring menu to “ Bearer ” is “ Data
