•
Setting
the
G1N/G1XN
to
the
bypass
condition
In play mode or rhythm mode (

together

indication "bP" appears on the display

until
the
indication "bP" on the display changes to "Mt" and then release the foot switches.
The bypass or mute condition cannot be activated when the unit is in edit mode (

p. 14).

o
use
the
tuner
function
of
the
G1N/G1XN,
the
built-in
ef
fects
must
be
bypassed
(temporarily
turned of
f) or muted (original sound and ef
fect sound turned of
f).
Play the open string to tune, and adjust the pitch. T
o fine-adjust the r
efer
ence pitch of the G1N/G1XN
tuner
, turn the [V
ALUE] knob in the bypass/mute
condition.
When you turn the knob, the current reference pitch is shown for a time on the display
.
The default setting
is
40 (center

= 440 Hz).
While the reference pitch is shown, turn the [V
ALUE]
knob to
adjust
the
value
in
the
range from
35 – 45 (center
A
=
435 to
445 Hz).
When power is turned off and on again, the r
efer
ence
pitch setting will be r
eset to 40 (center

= 440 Hz).

Patch
change
at
bypass/mute
When
you
pr
ess
both

foot
switches
together
while
playing
your
instrument,
the
sound
may
change
momentarily
just
befor
e
th
e
b
y
p
a
s
s
/m
u
te
c
o
n
d
it
io
n
i
s
a
c
ti
v
a
te
d
.
This
is
because
the
G1N/G1XN
switches
to
the
next
higher
or
lower
patch
when
one
of
the
foot
switches
is
pr
essed
slightly
earlier
.
(W
h
e
n
y
o
u
c
a
n
c
e
l
th
e
b
y
p
a
s
s
/m
u
te
condition,
the
original
patch
number
will
be
active again.) This
behavior
is
not
a
defect.
It
is
due
to
the
v
e
ry
h
ig
h
s
p
e
e
d
a
t
w
h
ic
h
th
e
G
1
N
/G
1
X
N
responds
to
patch
switching.
To
pr
event
the

a

e

condition
is fully established.
