Solution

You may find it easier and more affordable to purchase a prepaid SIM for the network
or country that you need to connect to. If you plan to use a different SIM, follow the
instructions in
Chapter 1, Installing your New Modem .

If you are using your existing SIM, verify with your service provider that roaming is
allowed. You should also check with your service provider to find out whether you need
to change your APN settings while roaming.
Problem
I have installed a MicroSD card, but I either can’t see it or can’t read data from it.
Solution
•
Verify that the MicroSD card is installed correctly. When installing the MicroSD card
the metal contacts on the back of the card should be facing up.

Your modem supports up to 8GB MicroSD cards. Check that your card does not
exceed this capacity.
•
Verify that your card works in another device.
Problem
The data on my MicroSD card cannot be directly accessed b y remote users.
Solution
The MicroSD’s data is only available to your local computer and can not be directly accessed
by remote users. If you need to share this data with a remote user, you can copy some or all
of the data and then paste it into an appropriate application. For instance, you can email the
data, transfer the data using FTP, or use a file-sending website.
