If necessary, drill a hole of suitable diameter
in the item for use as a starting point.
Sawing wood
Check that the item does not contain nails
or other metal objects.
Sawing metal
We recommend lubricating the material
and saw blade with cutting oil to protect
the tool and avoid overheating. Support the
item with wooden blocks on either side.
Sawing plastic
Never cut using maximum speed.
Make a test cut first to check if the material
can tolerate the heat generated by sawing.
Sawing masonry
Harmful dust can be caused by cutting
certain materials. Always wear a mask.
Overheat protection
A built-in fuse automatically turns the jig
saw off if it overheats. Allow the jig saw to
cool for half an hour before using it again.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the jig saw with a slightly damp cloth
or compressed air after use and always keep
its surfaces and vent holes clean.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents, as they may attack the plastic parts
of the jig saw.
Keep the jig saw dry and dust-free and at a
temperature between 5 and 40 °C.
Charging the battery
Press the locks on the sides of the battery
and remove the battery from the machine.
Insert the battery pack in the charger. The
battery cannot be inserted incorrectly in the
charger.
Plug the charger into the mains socket.
The green diode comes on.
The red diode will light while the battery is
charging.
Once the red diode goes out and the green
diode comes on, the battery is fully charged.
Charging takes approx. 1 hour.
NB! The battery is not fully charged when
delivered. It must be charged fully prior to
initial use.
Only use the charger at a room temperature
of 5-40 °C.
Never use the charger if the battery, charger
or cable is damaged.
If the tool will not be used for a prolonged
period, you must fully charge the battery
before storing it.
