(1) Select mode :
User can select available network.
(Auto select / Manual select)
Please be careful that the phone may not operate
properly if you change the network set up.
(2) Preferred NET (Preferred network) :
Add
Add from available : Add preferred network from
available network.
Add from known : Add preferred Network from
known network.
Display
: It shows the network which it prefers
(3) Known NET (Known network) :
You can select a network in the known network lists.
Your can save the network settings in Net account in order for
you to access the WAP and MMS services. Some settings are
not mandatory. Please consult your network operator or service
provider for more information.
After inserting your SIM card into your phone, your phone will
automatically detect and assign the corresponding network
settings into your phone according to your SIM Card. If your
network operator is not on the list of Net Account, please enter
or modify the settings of WAP and MMS according to the
following:
Net account
1. Press [Main] in idle mode.
2. Scroll to [4.Setting] by pressing navigation key, then
press [OK]. (Or press digit 4 )
3. Scroll to [5.Network set] by pressing up or down
navigation key, then press [OK]. (Or press digit 5)
4. Scroll to [6.Net account] by pressing up or down
navigation key, then press [OK]. (Or press digit 6)
5. Scroll to desired item, then press [OK].
1. WAP
(1) Profile name : Displays the Operator's name.
(2) Homepage : Inputs the URL. It is different for each
service provider.
(3) Gateway : Gateway address in "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" format.
(4) Port : Gateway port
(5) Conn type : You can select a data connection type -
HTTP, WSP CL, WSP CO (Default is "WSP CO").
(6) Bearer type : Your can select a bearer type :
GSM-GPRS or GSM-CSD.
(7) GSM-GPRS : APN (the address of the external data
network that you want to connect to, either an IP address
or a text string), User ID, Password, Linger time.
(8) GSM -CSD : Dial number, user ID, Password, Linger time.
