Zoll Defib quick guide manual mode

This mode should be used by all staff who are

trained in ECG recognition

1. Press green on/off button

Oral and visual prompts

•

Plug in cable

•

Open airway

•

Check breathing

•

Plug in cable

2.  Press 2 soft keys
3.  Press “MANUAL”
4.  Assess rhythm
5.  Press charge button
6.  Shout STAND CLEAR (look for patient to be clear of anyone)
7.  Press flashing red button

Warning:

Defib will not charge unless pads are attached to the patient
