Using the Aspirator User Interface

Main Menu Button
Pressing the Main Menu button provides access to the device menu. Main Menu controls are
accessed by turning the Dial to highlight the control, and then pressing the Confirm button. to
access the range of values for the control.
To cancel a setting selection, press the Main Menu button. To exit the Main Menu or setting,
press the Mute/Cancel button again.
The Main Menu button is labeled with the following symbol just above the button.
Note: Pressing the Main Menu button displays the following settings. Initially, the
Power Up setting is always selected when the Main Menu opens.
The following settings can be accessed and set through the Main Menu.

LCD Contrast
•
LCD Brightness
•
UTC Offset
Standby Button
The aspirator can be placed in a Standby state that minimizes power usage by turning OFF the
vacuum pump and decreasing the light intensity of for both the LCD backlight and LED array.
When placed in Standby state, the LED array alternates between green and yellow to indicate
its status and remind the user that input is required to begin suctioning.
To put the aspirator in Standby, press the Standby button (see Figure below)
