WASTE OF ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Electric and electronic equipment can contain substances that are harmful for humans,
animals and nature, if not handled properly. Equipment marked with the WEEE symbol
(shown below), shall not be thrown together with normal waste, but should be delivered
to the communitys recovery- or environment stations. Used batteries shall be delivered
to recovery- or environment stations for recycling.
(WEEE = waste of electric and electronic equipment).

WARRANTY
The warranty from Zodiac Norge AS covers failures and errors in
materials, design and execution in a period of 36 months from
the date the equipment was bought. For products with a limited
lifetime, as for instance battery, antenna and other accessories,
12 months warranty applies. A receipt or other proof of purchase
is necessary for proper warranty handling.
For professional use, other rules apply.
If a failure occurs during normal operation of the product, it shall
be returned to the dealer where it was originally bought, or an
authorized service centre.
These you will find on www.zodiac.no. All freight costs will be paid by the owner. The
equipment must be carefully packed in its original box or similar. Failures that are related
to wrong use, wear and tear, overvoltage, moist damage or other damage and repair by
unauthorized persons, will not be covered by warranty. The product will then be repaired
by payment after the owners order.

SAFETY INFORMATION
- Only use manufacturer supplied or approved batteries and chargers.
- Turn off your radio before boarding an aircraft. Any use of the radio must be in
accordance with airline regulations or crew instructions.
- Turn off your radio prior to entering any area with explosive and flammable materials.
- Do not charge or replace your battery in a location with explosive and flammable
materials.
- Do not use any portable radio that has a damaged antenna. If a damaged antenna
comes into contact with your skin, a minor burn may result.
- Do not expose the radio to direct sunlight for a long time, nor place it close to a heating
source.
- If you wear a portable radio on your body, ensure that the antenna is at least 2.5
centimeters (one inch) away from your body when transmitting.
- The defined operating temperature is from -2

C to +60
◦
C, once over this temperature
range, it mightaffect the function.
