2.2 I Hydraulic connecti ons
•
Respect the hydraulic connecti on directi on (see para. "1.3 I Dimensions and markings").
•
Loss of head graphs are available, para. "1.4 I Graphs showing loss of head depending on fl ow rate".
•
Screw the AIR RELEASE into the cover in the marked locati on (there is a seal is fi tt ed on the release mechanism).
•
Screw the pressure gauge on to the adapter, using Tefl on tape, then screw the assembly on to the cover in the
"PRESSURE GAUGE" locati on (there is a seal is fi tt ed on the adapter)

For hydraulic connecti ons, use 63/50 mm glue-on union couplings (supplied).
•
Install a non-return valve if the fi lter is installed above the water level.
•
Install isolati on valves on the fi lter sucti on and discharge, if it is installed below the water level.
•
Avoid high points on the pipework for more effi cient priming
•
Check that the hydraulic couplings are correctly ti ghtened and that there are no leaks.
•
Pipes must be supported to prevent any risk of breakage due to the weight of water.

Tip: Versa Plumb® kit
•
In the event that a CS fi lter is installed jointly with a Zodiac® pump from the FloPro™ range, it is
recommended that you use the opti onal Versa Plumb® kit. Its use simplifi es the installati on and opti mises
the fl ow.
Tip: connect the fi lter-drain to a nearby draining system
•
An additi onal 63/50 dia. tailpiece is supplied for connecti ng the fi lter drain to a nearby drainage system,
if necessary.
•
Note: if the fi lter is connected to a nearby drainage system, it is essenti al to add a valve downstream
which can be opened during drainage of the fi lter and closed at all other ti mes to prevent backfl ow into
the fi lter.
