16.1.2
Cleaning the spark plug
Take off the spark plug cap. Loosen and remove the spark plug. Clean it with a small brush from
soot debris. The contact distance shall account approx. 0, 5mm – 0,7mm.
16.1.3
Checking oil level of exciter:
1. Put the compactor horizontally
2. Open the oil-filler neck
3. Oil level must reach the beginning of screw thread of the filler neck
4. If necessary fill in engine oil SAE 15W40 (use the hopper).
5. Close the oil-filler neck
Change the exciter oil every 300 working hours
1. Open the filler bore.
2. Cant the compactor as long as the complete oil has leaked. Fill in the oil in a suitable container.
3. Put the compactor horizontal.
4. Fill in SAE 15W40 (ca.500ml) through filler bore SAE 15W40 respectively
5. Close the filler bore. ATTENTION! Do not fill in too much oil! Otherwise it can reduce the
performance and/or cause damages.
ATTENTION!
Do not clean the exciter with a high pressure washer etc. otherwise water can
infiltrate the system.
16.1.4
Adjusting the V-belt
The V-belt connects the engine and the exciter. Especially with new machines or
even after the change of the v-belt this itself is getting wider and loses purchase.
If the V-belt yields more than 10-15mm on thumb pressure, it is necessary to
adjust the V-belt again.
1. Switch off the machine and take off the cover of the belt.
2. Solve the four nuts at the engine.
3. Move back the engine for straining and forward to solve the V-belt.
4. Put the pulley of the engine parallel to the pulley of the exciter (a ruler can be
helpful). Tighten the four nuts at the engine again.
5. Fix the cover of the V-belt again
For adjusting the tension of the V-belt use the clamp screw of the V-belt.
16.1.5
Carburettor
N O T I C E
Carburetor settings must be performed only by trained personnel!
16.1.6
Refuel
Each normal petrol (unleaded petrol) with octane index (ROZ) of 95 can be used. Never use a mix of
oil and petrol or dirty petrol. Avoid infiltration of the gasoline tank by water, dust or dirt.
N O T I C E
It is not recommended to use alternative for gasoline, because this can cause damage of parts
of the gasoline system.
