This manual contains important information and
advice for the correct and safe use and
maintenance of the ZIPPER sickle bar mower ZI-
BM870ECO. The manual is part of the machine
and may not be stored separately. Read it
profoundly before first use of the machine and
keep it for later reference. When the machine is
handed to other persons always put the manual
to the machine.

2.1 Noise measurement
This sickle bar mower has been designed and con-
structed following the provisions of EN ISO 11688-
1:1998 and EN ISO 11688-2 referring to technical
rules and means to be followed in the design of low-
noise machines.
The noise measurement has been carried out in accor-
dance with the provisions of EN ISO 4871:1996 being
applicable for outdoor motor mowers (Noise test code
for motor mowers – Engineering method , grade 2)
The measured values are:
LPA : 89,8 dB(A) LWA: 104,6 dB(A)
