Possible Malfunctions and their Remedy

Malfunction

Cause / Remedy

The e-motor of the pump can not be started.

1. Check the electrical connections,
  contactors, and fuses.
2. The supply cable does not dispose of a
  neutral line
  (please only use five-wire cables).

The flow rate suddenly drops significantly
and the unit shuts off.

1. Nozzle or ball valve filter are blocked.
  Clean the same.
2. The Luprosil container is empty.

The pump does not suction.

1. The suction line is possibly blocked.
2. Turn the quantity adjustment screw to the
extreme right.

The e-motor stops, if the push-button I is not
constantly actuated.

1. Check the line system (blocked nozzle,
  empty Liprosol keg)
2. Floater is not aligned to the pick-up.

The unit does not shut not automatically shut
down even though the flow throughput has
dropped.

The pick-up is not correctly set. If the floater
sinks, it is still within the range of the pick-
up.
(Only occurs at very small quantities)

The suction line suctions air (there are air
bubbles in the floe measuring pipe).

1. Suction strainer is not in media.
2. Suction line has a leak.
3. Tighten hose clamps.

The pump generates stuttering noises.

Clean suction strainer (contamination).

The unit can not be activated.

Switch of relay (E1, E2) has tripped, Diagram
10, Page - 22 -, actuate blue push-button.
