act on the power controller (10) gradually until the
desired temperature setting is indicated on the gauge
(2).
If the power adjuster is not in the correct position the safety system stops the
lamp being switched on in order to prevent erroneous thermal stress and allow
the user to adjust the intensity to the type of weld to be effected.
Make sure that the screen is closed
properly: if the screen is open the safety
system will stop the lamp being
switched on.
Welding progress can be checked by
looking through the protective screen.
once the optimum welding temperature has been reached the solder will melt in just a few seconds.
once you see that solder fusion has started use the joystick to raise the platform about 2-3 mm so as
to shift the contact point of the parts to be welded to the exact thermal focussing point.
Monitoring this procedure though the protective screen allows the user to determine when the two
parts have been joined.
