Tapping is performed by rotating the spindle counterclockwise, when it reaches the hole bottom, in order to
return, the spindle is rotated clockwise, the cycle for the processing of the anti-thread.
When the G74 and M code are specified in the same block, the positioning operation is performed while the
M code, and then the next tapping action. When specifying the number of repetitions K, M code is executed only
at the first hole, after, no M code is executed.
When the tool length compensation in a fixed cycle block (G43, G44, G49) , positioning to point R bias.
P for the hole bottom dwell time, in milliseconds, can only be a multiple of 100.
Before using left-handed tapping cycle G74 must specify the spindle rotates counterclockwise by M code.

13.4.2 Tapping Cycle (G84)
The loop executes tapping, when it reaches the bottom of the hole, the spindle rotation in the opposite
direction.
Format:
G84 X_ Y_ Z_ R_ P_ F_ K_
;
X_ Y_: Hole position data
Z_: absolute coordinate of the hole bottom (absolute value)
From the R point to the bottom of the hole distance (incremental mode)
R_: absolute coordinates of point R (absolute value)
Distance (incremental mode) from an initial position to point R
P_: Dwell time
F_: Cutting feed rate
K_: repetitions
Tapping is performed by rotating the spindle when it reaches the hole bottom, in order to return the spindle to
rotate in opposite directions, and this cycle for processing threads.
