6.11 Switch of All Kinds Of Operation
System will stop sunning after finishing the current program when switch the mode of [MEM], [MDI], [DNC]
to the mode of [MDI], [DNC], [MEM] and [COMPILE].
Machine will slow down and stop when program run in the mode of [MEM], [MDI], [DNC] and switch to
the mode of
[HANDLE], [JOG], [ZERO RETURN]
.
7 Back to Origin Operation
7.1 Mechanical Origin
Machine coordinate is the calculated datum reference coordinate system of numerical control system , and it
is inherent in the machine tool coordinate system. Origin of machine coordinate system is called mechanical
origin or machine origin, also known as the reference point, and it is usually installed in the direction of the
maximum stroke of feed axis (X, Z axis). After completion of the machine through the design, manufacture and
adjustment, mechanical origin point were identified which is a fixed point. Numerical control device does not
know mechanical origin when it is powered on, so it is necessary to carry on the automatic or manual mechanical
origin back, which is operation of returning parameter.
This system uses the stroke switch to reference position return. Machine feed axis moves to negative
direction (related to machine and system parameters) when reference position return is proformed. When the feed
shaft stop down the stroke switch, system move at low speed (parameters setting). After the stroke switch separate
from stop, the return shaft immediately stop motion and reference position return is finished .
NOTE:
1. The valid width of stop dog must ensure finishing deceleration, and the width is usually not less than 25
mm;
2. Motor reference position return way is vaild for absolute coding machine, needing parameter
1261-1221(reference point method code of motor 0: have a motor index. 1: have not) setting.
3. Absolute coordinates of returned reference point is setted by parameter 1252-1257 (Absolute coordinates
of motor reference point).
7.2 Reference Position Return Process
Steps of reference position return by the stroke switch are as follows:
1. Press the [ZRN] button on the operation panel and system will be in the mode of REF;
2. Chose moving shaft button (+X
、
-X
、
+Z
、
-Z) according the direction of reference position return . Press
just one time and it will work;
3. Machine tool moves along the direction of select shaft. Feed shaft moves at high speed
(
rapid moving
F0×rapid traverse rate
)
before touching stroke switch .
4. This system can realize reference position return of several shafts at the same time ,which is that we can
operate the other shaft when one of shafts is returning reference position, and it does not interfere.
5. Indicator lamp on the operation panel is on when finishing the reference position return process;
6. Pressing rotates in the forward/backward direction can realize inching function of spindle.
NOTE:
It is necessary to adjust spindle speed in advance in the process of inching function of spindle. We suggest
that speed should not be too high when adjusting spindle speed in the state of MDI.
7.3 Program Command to Reference Position Return
This system can realize homing through program command G28 and stroke dog
,
which is as the same as
manual machine homing.
