Operation

Operational Messages

During normal operation, it is common to have messages show up on your display. These
usually occur only briefly. The following table shows the various operational messages
and their meanings.

Table 3: Operational Message Meanings

Diagnostics Messages

In the event that the continuous system diagnostics finds a problem, the time/message
display of the appropriate consoles display a message. This message indicates the general
nature of the problem. To aid service personnel, you should record the error message with
the time of day. For information on clearing the diagnostics message, see the description
of the

Diagnostics Reset

button.

shows the various diagnostics messages and their

meaning.

Message

Meaning

NoOption

You attempted to access a non installed feature option.

TxTimeOut

The three minute transmission timeout expired on a system channel. This may
be due to a stuck transmit switch. This is displayed at all consoles in the
system.

Priority

The transmission has been overridden by another console using Priority
Transmit.

Busy

You attempted to transmit on a channel that was already in use by another
console or parallel remote. This is sometimes caused by rapid transmissions
using the TRANSMIT button.

I-CALL

You have been called by another console over the console intercom.

I-BUSY

You tried to use the console intercom when it was already in use by another
console.

TakeOver

The console has been taken over by the supervisory console. Your keyboard is
inoperable until released.

Release

The console has been released by the supervisory console, and your keyboard
is now operable.

PROGRAM

The console is in the program mode and is waiting to be loaded with data.

DnLoading CPS

The console is in the program mode and is being loaded with data.

UpLoading CPS

The console is in the program mode and is uploading its configuration to the
PC.

** DONE **

Your console is in the program mode and has been loaded with data.

CPSdataErr

The console CPS data is missing or invalid.
