Assembly requires 2 persons. All screw holes to be pre-drilled.
Tools required: Corded/Cordless Drill, Pozi-drive Bit/Screwdriver, 3mm Drill Bit,
Tape Measure.
Salisbury Corner Seat is now complete.
1.
Position Seat Support A between posts at a height of 400mm (nom.) from base of
posts. Fix in position using 2no 90mm Screws (Fig.1a) and 2no 120mm Screws
(Fig.1b).
Repeat procedure for remaining Seat Support A and Post/Trellis Assembly B.

Position Seat C and Post/Trellis Assemblies B as shown in Fig.2a (ensuring
narrower posts are rearmost). Attach Seat C to Seat Supports A using 24no
40mm Screws
– 12no per side.
Attach Fascia D to Seat Supports A using 4no 40mm Screws
– 2no per side
(Fig.2b)
Attach Seat C to Fascia D using 3no 40mm Screws (Fig.2c).
3.
Ensuring scalloped ends are faced downwards, attach Long Rafter E1 to Short
Rafter E2 using 2no 60mm Screws (Fig.3a).
Position Rail F as shown in Fig.3b and attach to both Rafters E1 & E2 using 4no
60mm Screws.
Attach Bracing Rail G to Rafters E1 & E2 using 4no 60mm Screws, ensuring
underside of rail is flush with underside of rafters (Fig.3c).
Ensuring correct orientation of Slotted Rafters H, equispace and fix to Rail F
using 3no 60mm Screws (Fig.3d). Invert rafter assembly and attach rafter ends to
Bracing Rail using 3no 60mm Screws (Fig.3e)
4.
Locate rafter assembly onto notched post tops and fix in position through posts
using 2no 60mm Screws per front post (Fig.4a) and 1no 60mm Screw per rear
post (Fig.4b)
