Assembly Instructions
1) Locate 8no 60mm screws into the pre drilled holes on the framing of Side
Panels (A) and 2no 60mm screws into the base framing on Back Panel (B) and
Front Panel (C), as shown in diagram 1 (S = Location of Pre drilled screw holes,
the arrow shows direction of fix). Secure Side Panels (A) to Back Panel (B)
using a posidrive #2 screwdriver. The cladding on the side panel should overlap
the ends of the cladding on the rear panel, and the base timbers of the panels
should be level.

the side panels overlap the ends of the cladding on the front panel, and the base
timbers of the panels should be level.
3) Locate the wall panel assembly onto Base Panel (D), ensuring the wall panels
are flush with the perimeter of the base panel. Secure the wall panel assembly
down to the base panel using 8no 60mm screws.
4) Prior to attaching the hinges, please ensure that Top Panel (E) is orientated
as shown in Diagram 2. Position the hinges on the two innermost framing
timbers on the underside of Top Panel (E) as shown in Diagram 1. The hinge pin
(ie the pivot point of the hinge should be positioned 38mm in from the rear outer
edge of the top panel (See diagram 3) . Attach using 4no 30mm screws per
hinge (See Diagram 1). Position Top Panel (E) onto the assembly and, ensuring
the overhangs are equal, attach the hinged top panel (E) to the outer face of the
Back Wall Panel (B) using 6no 30mm screws i.e. 3no screws per hinge (See
Diagram 3).
The Log Chest assembly is now complete.
