Requires 2 person assembly
Tools required: Corded / Cordless Drill, Pozi-drive Bit / Screwdriver, Tape Measure,
3mm Drill Bit will be required to drill screw holes during construction.
1. Position Rafters (B), 150mm in from both ends of Rails (A) and fix using 4no. 70mm Screws (2no. per
Rafter) (Figs 1a & 1b).
Set out remaining Rafters (B) equally (Fig 1c) and attach using 10no. 70mm Screws (2no. per Rafter (B)).
2. Place Trellis Panel (D) 90mm from top of and central on Post (C), and fix in position using 3no. 60mm
Screws (1no. Screw either end and 1no. Screw to centre) (see Fig 2a).
Position second Post (C) as shown in Fig 2b and similarly attach Trellis Panel (D) using 3no. 60mm
Screws.
Repeat Stage 2 with remaining Posts (C) & Trellis Panel (D) for opposite side of arch.
3. Locate post/trellis assembly onto rail/rafter assembly as shown in Fig 3a (adjust width to suit). Fix in
position using 4no. 70mm Screws. (2no. screws per post) (see Fig 3b).
Repeat procedure for remaining post/trellis assembly for opposite side of rail/rafter assembly.
4. Ensuring post/trellis assembly is perpendicular to rail/rafter assembly, position Bracing (E) as shown in
Fig 4, and fix using 2no. 70mm Screws. (1no. screw to each end of bracing)
Repeat procedure for remaining 3no. Bracings (E), one Bracing (E) per post.
