Command-line interface
The table below lists the commands that can be used in the command-line
interface. We use the following conventions:
•
Angled brackets (e.g.
<line>
) indicates a parameter that must be entered.
•
Square brackets (e.g.
[prompt]
) indicates an optional parameter.
Many commands enable you to specify parameters without waiting to be
prompted in a subsequent step.
Command
Description
clear
Clears the terminal window.
clear startup-config
Clears the startup-config (see the "
copy
" command
below). The ZeptoMux resets to the factory default
configuration.
clear stat
Clears all statistics.
copy running-config
startup-config
Copies the contents of the running-config file to the
startup-config file.
You can view the contents of these files using "
show
running-config
" or "
show startup-config
".
copy startup-config
running-config
Caution:
this will immediately change the
configuration of the ZeptoMux.
Copies the contents of the startup-config file to the
running-config file.
You can view the contents of these files using "
show
running-config
" or "
show startup-config
".
disable
Exits privileged mode. Privileged mode must be enabled to
make changes to software configuration of the ZeptoMux.
download <source>
Copies a software image from a specified host to the
ZeptoMux flash memory.
You need to specify the source as an IP address and file
name.
Example:
