11-2 Cutting Blade Assembly Removal
1. Remove the six mounting bolts, then remove the
gear case (bottom).
2. Remove the two mounting bolts, then remove the
cutting blade assembly.
NOTE:

If the felt or gasket in the gear case is
damaged or deteriorated, replace it with a
new one.
・ ・・ ・
If grease in the gear case is deteriorated,
remove old grease completely, and fill new
grease enough.
・ ・・ ・
The spacers place between the guide plate of
the cutting blade assembly and it crowds.
When installing the cutting blade assembly,
align the mounting bolts and hole positions of
the spacers.
・ ・・ ・
When assembling the connecting rods, turn
the mark of “GEAR SIDE” to the driven gear
side without fail, and assemble them.
11-3 Clutch Drum Replacement
1. Fix the gear wrench (T4531-94110/ 521 85 55-01)
to the vise.
2. Match the drive gear in the gear case to the pins of
the gear wrench, and fix it.
3. Remove the clutch drum.
Standard Type:
Set the puller (T1666-96110/ 512 35 94-01) to the
clutch drum, and remove the clutch drum by
turning it clockwise.
NOTE: The clutch drum is a left-hand thread.
