10. Disposal

WARNING

• 

Do  not  modify  or  disassemble  the  machine. 
Modification or disassembly of the machine might 
cause the machine to be damaged during opera-
tion, or cause an unexpected accident due to the 
leakage of fuel or malfunction of the machine.

• 

When you carry out inspection or maintenance of 
the machine, keep the machine clear of fire (such 
as a lit cigarette). Otherwise, the fuel might catch 
fire.

• 

Use  ZENOAH’s  genuine  or  dedicated  tightening 
parts (bolts, nuts and screws). Use of other manu-
facturers’  parts  might  damage  the  machine,  or 
cause an unexpected accident due to parts falling 
off while the machine is in operation. 

•  When  you  dispose  of  the  machine,  do    not  disas

semble the machine.

•  When you dispose of the machine, fuel, oil, be sure 

to follow your local regulations.

PHENOMENON

The engine does not start.

• Bad fuel (different quality, deterioration)

• Replace it with normal fuel (page 9).

• Excessive sucking of fuel

• Open  the  choke,  open  the  throttle  full 

open, and pull out the rope repeatedly 
(page 10).

• Clogging of the muffler exhaust vent

• Clean the muffler (page 13).

• Contamination  of  the  spark  plug  elec

trodes, Short-circuit or breaking of a wire

• Clean the electrodes or replace the plug

The engine does not accelerate.

• Bad fuel (different quality, deterioration)

• Replace it with normal fuel (page 9).

• Clogging of the muffler exhaust vent

• Clean the muffler (page 13).

The engine stalls when the throttle is 
returned to its original position.

• The idling revolution speed is too low.

• Readjust  the  idling  adjustment  screw 

(page 11).

The engine rotation speed changes.

• Clogging of the fuel filter

• Clean or replace the fuel filter (page 12

Deterioration of fuel consumption

• Clogging of the air cleaner

• Clean the air cleaner (page 12).

• Bad lubrication of the gear case

• Supply grease (page 12).
