Various speed playback with Shuttle Ring
You can play back discs at various speeds, and
resume normal playback.
During still picture mode, rotating and holding the
SHUTTLE ring to the positions indicated gives
those slow modes.

The variable-speed slow picture will appear on the TV
screen.
Release the SHUTTLE ring to resume the still
picture mode.

Shuttle ring
To play in slow-motion
To scan at fast forward or fast reverse.
❍
The DVD player does not play back sound during
slow-motion playback, the high speed reverse and
forward playback of DVD video discs.
However, the DVD player plays back sound during
fast forward or fast reverse playback of audio CDs.
❍ Subtitles do not appear on the screen during scan
playback.
❍ The DVD player provides four (4) scan speeds (DVD)
or three (3) scan speeds (CD).
❍ The DVD player can not play back audio CDs in slow
motion.
