Remote
Start
Reservation
For
manual
transmission
vehicles,
remote
start
reservation
is
required
in
order
to
ensure
that
the
vehicle
is
properly
prepared
to
remote
start
safely.
There
are
two
types
of
remote
start
reservation.
1.
Automatic
remote
start
reservation:
Upon
turning
the
key
to
the
OFF
position,
the
engine
will
continue
to
run
until
the
last
door,
hood,
trunk
is
closed.
If
a
door,
hood,
or
trunk
is
opened,
remote
start
reservation
will
be
cancelled.
2.
Manual
remote
start
reservation:
Before
turning
the
key
to
the
OFF
position,
the
remote
start
button
must
be
held
for
at
least
2
seconds.
When
the
key
is
turned
to
the
OFF
position,
the
engine
will
continue
to
run
until
the
last
door,
trunk
or
hood
is
closed.
Opening
a
door,
trunk,
or
hood
will
cancel
remote
start
reservation.
