Changing the bulb
Warning
Before replacing lamps, switch off the instrument and disconnect the
power cable! To avoid burns, let the defective lamp cool down before
replacing it!
Caution
Avoid touching the bulb of the new lamp with bare fingers, as this will
reduce light intensity.

•
Remove cover ( 1 , Fig. 2) to make the halogen lamp accessible. The
location of the halogen lamp is shown in Fig. 32.
•
Remove the defective halogen lamp ( 1 , Fig. 32, catalog number
409-306) from holder ( 3 , Fig. 32) by pulling it upward.
•
Remove defective halogen lamp from lamp socket ( 2 , Fig. 32).
