Fuse Replacement

Make sure the power cable is disconnected before changing any fuses.

Axio Observer, HBO, XBO, HXP, Tempmodul S1: see separate operating manual.
Laser Bench Rack and TIRF Controller: Do not contain fuses changeable from outside. Please contact the

Service Department of Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmbH.

5.4.1

Signal Distribution Box

The fuse compartment is combined with the

coupler plug and contains two fuses.

•

Switch off the instrument by means of the

power switch.

•

Disconnect the power plug.

•

Remove the fuse carrier (Fig. 5-1/

) by pulling it

towards you. You may use a small screwdriver,
if necessary.

•

Remove the fuses (Fig. 5-1/

) from the fuse

holder and insert new fuses (2x), type

T 1A/H/250 V

•

Push the fuse holder back into the fuse
compartment as far as it will go.

•

Connect the power cable.

5.4.2

Laser Bench Tower

•

Switch off the instrument by means of the

power switch.

•

Disconnect the power plug.

•

Pull the fuse holder (Fig 5-2/

) out of the fuse

compartment.

•

Replace relevant fuses (2x

T6.3 A/H/250 V
