2D View

This function allows to

display a single image in frame mode,

−

display multiple channel images in superimposed mode.

In the 2D view, only the general

View Option

control blocks are displayed. These view option blocks are

also available in those other view options in which the functions are applicable.
The general view option control blocks are only described in this section.

4.2.1

Dimensions

The

Dimensions View Options

control block

holds the tools to modify the image display with
respect to the (multiple) dimensions of the image

data set.
The sections (slices) in the dimensions can be
scrolled with sliders (

Z-Position

,

Time

, and

Illumination

in Fig. 285) and also directly

addressed with setting numbers in the spin-boxes
next to the sliders.
When more than three dimensions are present in

the image, a scroll bar at the right side of the
sliders appears. Scroll to the slider you wish to use.

Note, when you create multiple Z-Stacks with the Multiview-setup tool, they might have different
numbers of slices. In the Dimension View control, the maximum number of slices present in the

dataset will be displayed, even if a view with less slices is chosen.

The small

button on the right hand side of the spin-boxes (

Z-Position

and

Time

) starts and stops an

animation in the respective dimension. This basic animation cannot be customized. For all other player-
functionality, refer to the

Player View Block

.

Interpolation check box

: activates / deactivates the interpolation of neighboring pixels within the

image. This is only a display option and will not affect the original data.
