Technical conditions of use
• Note the specified ambient conditions, see Page 73.
You must not make any modifications to the water phantom or to the
INTRABEAM.
WARNING The water phantom is designed exclusively for use in combination with the
INTRABEAM. The use of other control units may lead to disruptions, incorrect
measured values and, as a result, incorrect radiation being administered to
the patient.
•
Use the water phantom only in combination with the INTRABEAM.
NOTE The use of any components other than original INTRABEAM components
may lead to incorrect measured values.
•
Use the water phantom only in connection with original ZEISS compo-
nents.
CAUTION If not appropriately transported on site, the water phantom may fall down
and cause injury or be damaged.
• Always carry the water phantom together with a second person and hold
it by the handles attached to its sides.
• Avoid collisions and hard impact when setting the device down.
WARNING If any components of your water phantom are missing, radiation protection
may not be possible and you cannot perform any measurements.
• Use the water phantom only if you are sure that the device is complete.
• Do not use the water phantom if it appears to be damaged.
WARNING If one of the viewing windows of the water tank is damaged, water may leak
out and/or the protection against radiation leaks may be impaired.

Do not use the water phantom if it is damaged.
