Mounting the Camera

The camera is connected to the sideport of the microscope using the camera adapter.
To ensure safe operation of the laser the camera adapter is fitted with two reflected light barriers which
close the laser shutter when no camera (Fig. 5-7/

4

) or protective cover (Fig. 5-7/

2

) is mounted.

CAUTION

The camera adapter (Fig. 5-7/

1

) is firmly fastened to the sideport by means of a retaining ring

(Fig. 5-7/

3

) and must not be removed.

Non-observance involves the risk of eye damage!

Fig. 5-7

Connecting the camera

Remove protective cover (Fig. 5-7/

2

) from the camera adapter (Fig. 5-7/

1

).

Mount the camera (Fig. 5-7/

4

) on the camera adapter, align it and fasten it with the three clamp

screws (Fig. 5-7/

5

).

Simply unscrew the three clamp screws (Fig. 5-7/

5

) to remove the camera.

Put the protective cover (Fig. 5-7/

2

) onto the camera adapter to ensure that the laser can work

even if the camera has been removed.
