Basic Setting
SSID
: This wireless network name is shared among all associated devices in your wireless network.
Keep it identical on all those devices. Note that the SSID is case-sensitive and cannot exceed 32
characters.
Description:
Name of the VAP profile
Broadcast SSID
: In AP mode, hiding network name is necessary when you are in a wireless
environment that may have potential risk. By disabling broadcast SSID, the STA cannot scan and
find the IEEE 802.11n ZAC Access Point, so that malicious attack by some illegal STA could be
avoided.
Wireless Separation
: W ireless separation is an ideal way to enhance the security of network
transmission. By enabling
“
Wireless Separation
” can prevent the communication among
associated wireless clients.
WMM Support
: W MM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) is a subset of 802.11e. It allows wireless communication
to define a priority limit on the basis of data type under AP mode only, thus those time-sensitive data,
like video/audio data, may own a higher priority than common one. To enable WMM, the wireless
client should also support it. By default it is enabled and cannot be disabled in b/g/n mode.
Max. Station Number:
By default the
“
Max. Station Num
” the ZAC Access Point will only allow up
to 32 wireless clients to associate with for better bandwidth for each client. You may tick the box
and enter the preferable limits for maximum client association number.
