Check the instructions of the anchorage too as
some types of EN 795 anchorages could lead
to additional absorption distance, it is
necessary to include this in the calculation of
minimum clearance for a safe fall. Ensure the
potential fall path is clear of obstructions.
Attachment points according to EN 361:2002
This harness has two attachment points
according to EN 361:2002: a sternal
attachment point, made of two blue polyester
loops (F in this instruction manual and marked
with A/2 in the product, see Fig. 3), and a
dorsal attachment point, made of one black
aluminum ring (A in this instructions and
marked with A in the product). Both
attachment points can be used for a rescue or
fall arrest system, connected with connectors
according to EN 362, and with or without
energy absorbers depending on the system
according to EN 362.
Rescue plan instructions and suspension
trauma
Users must have a rescue plan and all the
necessary components to implement it. Prior
any use, a rescue plan must be laid out.
To improve comfort and safety after a fall, this
harness includes our technology "Chair in the
Air", in the event of a fall, simply pull the
deployment cord to activate the system and
achieve a comfortable seated position with
freedom of movement for improved rescue
operations while reducing the potential
hazards of suspension trauma (Fig. 4).
INSPECTION
This product must be inspected at least each
12 months by a competent person according to
EN 365. In this inspection all webbing straps
must be checked looking for tears, cuts,
fraying, abrasion, discoloration, burns, holes,
mold, pulled or broken stitches, or other signs
of wear and damage. The webbing straps are
equipped with our technology WebAlert™, a
weather resistant coating to inspectable
webbing which has a brightly colored internal
webbing designed to show when the product is
damaged and needs to be taken out of service,
ensuring wear and damage is clearly visible.
All keepers, buckles, padding, and other
components must be loosen to inspect
webbing hidden by them. Sewn terminations
must be correctly placed and not visibly
damaged.
