• Lubricate moving parts with standard lubrication oil as soon as they feel stiff and tight.
• Lubricate the threads of the height adjustment rack and pinion winch with grease.
• Use a thin-bodied oil for lubrication in winter.
7.5 Replacement
7.5.1 Replacing the cable hoist
• When replacing the two cables of the hoist, make sure that the cables are the same
length.
• Always replace both cables.
• If there are minor deviations on the deflection rollers, correct them (see illustration
section of the manual, C1).
8 Dismantling/disposal
8.1 Safety instructions for dismantling/disposal

• Observe the sections “General information” and “Safety instructions” before carrying
out any work.

Improper dismantling and disposal of the product may result in injury.
• The dismantling process must be performed in the reverse order of the assembly
process.
• The product must be dismantled by at least two qualified persons. Additional persons
may be called upon if necessary.
• Cordon off ample space for the dismantling process.
• Use lifting tackle as required to lift and lower the fully or partially assembled product.
Attach the lifting tackle properly to the body of the access steps or to the platform.
• Always press down the brake lever on the fixed and swivel castors to prevent the
platform from rolling away.
• Do not climb onto the product when dismantling it.
• All aluminium and steel parts are fully recyclable. Use a magnet to identify steel
parts and dispose of them separately.
• Dispose of plastic parts in accordance with the local waste and recycling regulations.
