POWER
A #8 gauge or larger wire should be used for power and
ground connections. A fuse must be installed on the power
wire within 18 inches of the battery for safety reasons. The
size of this fuse will vary depending on the system
configuration. The ground wire should be connected directly
to the chassis of the vehicle. This ground point should be
clean and sanded to bare metal.
Never use seat or seatbelt bolts for grounding!
