The cotton 60 °C economy and cotton 40 °C economy are the standard cotton programmes for normally soiled

cotton laundry. They are suitable to clean normally soiled cotton laundry and they are the most efficient pro-

grammes in terms of combined energy and water consumption for washing that type of cotton laundry. The actual

water temperature may differ from the declared cycle temperature.

1) The consumption information shown in this chart is indicative. It can vary depending on the quantity and the type of laundry, on the

temperature of the water supply and on the ambient temperature.

2) This is the programme for test institutes. It agrees with EN60456.
