MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance before carrying out any 
maintenance operation.

Periodic cleaning

Clean the inside with warm water and bicarbonate of 
soda.
Clean the outside with a silicone wax spray.
Clean the condenser and compressor with a brush or 
vacuum cleaner. This will improve performance and 
consequently save on electricity.

Periods of non-use

If you are not using the appliance for any length of 
time, the following precautions should be taken:

unplug the appliance;

take all food out;

defrost and clean the inside and all the accessories;

leave the door ajar so that air can circulate inside in 
order to prevent unpleasant smells forming.

The light bulb

The opening on the diffuser gives access to the light 
bulb.
If the light does not come on when the door is opened, 
check that the bulb is screwed in properly; replace the 
bulb if the fault persists.
The rating is shown on the light bulb cover.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If a fault occurs, check:

– that the plug is correctly inserted in the socket;

– that the socket is powered;

– that the thermostat dial is correctly positioned.

Also check the following:

If the appliance is very noisy, check that the sides are 
not vibrating against adjacent kitchen units and that 
the refrigeration unit pipes are not vibrating.

If the fault persists after carrying out the above 
checks, call your nearest Servicing Centre.

For quick service it is important when telephoning 
to give the number of the model and the serial 
number, both of which can be found on the serial 
number plate inside at the bottom left of the 
appliance.
