1. Remove all parts under the cast iron broiler

and the seal stripe for the installation
procedure. The polyphane sheet

the protective layer of the steel protection
pan

2. Put back the steel protection pan and the
cast iron broiler into their first position.
3. Activate the empty broiler for approximately
10 minutes at the maximum setting.
To switch on and increase the heat setting turn
the knob clockwise. To decrease the heat set-
ting turn the knob counter-clockwise. To switch
off turn the knob to the 0.
Helpful hints and tips
Energy saving
• If possible, always put the lids on the
cookware.
• Stop the broiler before the end of the
cooking time to use residual heat.
Caution! Use the middle heat settings
when you cook fat food to prevent a
smoke.
The part in the front of the broiler stays hot after
the long cooking time. Always use a protection
to remove and replace food on the broiler.
Cookware
• The bottom of the cookware must be as
thick and flat as possible.
