BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all labels, hand wash in hot soapy water, rinse, and
towel dry immediately
• Although, the handles of your new cookware are designed
to stay cool on the stove top you should ALWAYS use oven
mitts or potholders when handling cookware on the stove
or when removing it from the oven. All cookware gets hot in
the oven

STOVETOP USE
• Stainless steel cookware with stainless steel handles is
oven safe to 260
℃
• Tempered glass lids are oven safe up to 180
℃
• Never put non-stick stainless steel cookware under the
broiler

OVEN USE
Thank you for buying a ZANUSSI product
• To prevent sticking add small amount of cooking oil,
margarine, or butter to a cold pot/pan. Heat on medium to
medium-high temperature for one to two minutes before
adding food
• Be sure your cooking surface is level. Burners and stoves
that are not level may cause fats to pool: pooled fats and
oils do not adequately cover cooking surfaces
• Clean pot/pan thoroughly after each use. Food films cause
sticking and discoloration on the pan when pan is reheated

COOKING TIPS
• Sticking may also be caused by high heat. When fats or oils
smoke, the heat is too high
• To avoid salt damage (small white dots or pits), add salt
after food begins to cook or after liquids begin to boil.
Pitting does not interfere with cooking performance, but it
can diminish the beauty of the stainless steel
• Do not store foods seasoned with salt in cookware
• Keep your stainless cookwares looking beautiful by
thoroughly washing in hot soapy water to avoid staining
caused by a build-up of food or grease residues and
minerals in the water
• Slight staining, which may occasionally occur, is normal
over time. To remove light stains from the surface of your
stainless steel cookware, apply a small amount of lemon
juice or vinegar scrub vigorously with non-metal scrubber
• The use of abrasive pads or cleansers like oven cleaners,
bleach, or strong abrasive cleaners may damage the
polished interior and exterior
• Note: Everyday use may result in minor scratching or yellow
staining; this will not interfere with cooking performance.
• Avoid extreme temperature changes; bring cooking vessels
to room temperature before submerging in cold water, not
doing so may cause warping
• Stainless steel is dishwasher safe but hand drying is
recommended for a spotless shine
• Use only brand name detergent
