ZERO DEGREE Compartment
Temperature
The temperature in this compartment is automatically
maintained between 0
°
C and +3
°
C. No adjustment is
needed by the user.
Food storage and humidity control
Various fresh foods can be stored in the ZERO DE-
GREE compartment for almost twice as long as in the
refrigerator compartment.
The humidity contained in the foods (in particular fruit
and vegetables) make optimum storage conditions
possible.
The two top drawers are fitted with slits (A - see figure)
(adjustable by means of sliding levers) which allow the
humidity inside the drawers to be varied. Highest hu-
midity is maintained with the slits closed. The bottom
drawer is low humidity.
Food recommended for storage in the ZERO DE-
GREE compartment

ment:

Inner arrangement
Movable glass shelves
The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series
of runners so that the shelves can be positioned as
desired.
For better use of space, the front half-shelves can lie
over the rear ones (Fig. 11).

Positioning the door shelves
To permit storage of food packages of various sizes,
the door shelves can be placed at different heights.
To make these adjustments proceed as follows:
Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows
until it comes free, then reposition as required.
