Multifunction oven

Oven function control knob (Fig. 8)

The oven function control knob can have the following

symbols and functions:

Conventional cooking - The heat comes from both

the top and bottom element, ensuring even heating

inside the oven.

Grill - The upper grill element will be on.
Bottom heating element - The heat comes from the

bottom of the oven only.

Fan cooking - This allows you to roast or roast and

bake simoultaneously using any shelf, without

flavour transference.

Defrost Setting - This setting is intended to assist

in thawing of frozen food.

Thermostat control knob (Fig. 9)

Turn the thermostat control knob to select temperatures

between 50°C and 250°C (MAX).

When cooking in the oven or grill, in order to

avoid  over-heating,  always  leave  the

appliance’s cover open (if present).

General Pilot lamp

When lit indicates the operation of one or more heating

elements.

Oven thermostat pilot lamp (°C)

Switches  off  when  the  oven  reaches  the  selected

temperatue  and  re-lights  each  time  the  thermostat

intervenes to maintain the temperature.

first time

When using the oven for the first time

a)set the thermostat knob to MAX;

- multifunction oven: set the oven knob to  ;

b)allow the oven to run empty for approximately 45

minutes;

c)open a window for ventilation.

Cooking with the turnspit

Some models are equipped with a turnspit (fig.6). For

correct use, proceed as follows:

• slide the spit into the food to be cooked and secure

well;

• place the spit on the support and slide the whole into

the third runner from the bottom of the oven cavity (fig.

7);

• insert the end of the spit into the rotisserie motor

housing (the orifice in the wall at the back of the oven

- see fig. 7);

• remove the spit handle;

• turn the oven knob to the "grill" position or, when

required for some models, turn on the motor by

means of the appropriate switch, placed on the

control panel.

During this time, an unpleasant odour may be emitted.

This is absolutely 

normal

, and is caused by residues of

manufacturing.

Once this operation is carried out, let  the oven cool down,

then clean the oven cavity with a soft cloth soaked in warm

soapy water. Before cooking for the first time, carefully

wash the 

shelf

 and the 

dripping pan.

Oven accessories

The oven is supplied with an enamelled dripping pan for

the  collection  of  cooking  juices  from  grilled  meat  or

kebabs, and a grill for cooking grilled food, which can

also be placed in a dish.
