The 

Z3-HE2160-APP-01

 is an application board design for rapid prototyping of the Z3-HE2160-MOD-xx and is 

included in the Z3-HE2160-RPS.  This application board uses the I/O expansion capability of the module to 
implement additional functions not present in the module itself.  This application board has one HDMI input, 
one composite input and one 3G-SDI input as well as ports for Gigabit Ethernet, USB, Micro SD and RS-232

The Z3-HE2160-RPS software is based on the Linux OS. The kit comes with all of the low-level resources such 
as the Linux kernel, u-boot, tool chain and starter file system pre-integrated and configured.  The software 
bundle also contains tools to allow the development of high-level applications using hardware-accelerated 
video processing. Those customers that license the optional source code package can also receive source 
code for Z3’s demonstration applications, providing an ideal starting point for custom applications.
