Removing the back cover: 

Hold the sides of the phone 

securely; use a thumbnail to lift up the back cover from 
the notch. 

Removing the battery:

 Hold the sides of the phone 

securely and lift up the battery from the slot notch. 

Note:

 Make sure that you turn off the phone before 

replacing or removing the battery.
