REAR DERAILLEUR ASSEMBLY

Please follow the
torque specifications of
the manufacturers:

Make sure the bike is standing safely on the
rear axle stand.

Turn the rear axle stand on its side. Carefully
cut the cable tie using a wire cutter. Remove
the bubble wrap and the foam transport
protection from the chainstay.

Rear derailleur screw //

8 – 10 Nm

Mount the rear derailleur on the derailleur
hanger (Allen key 5 mm). Please make sure
the bolt is perpendicular to the hanger to avoid
damaging the thread.

Tighten the rear derailleur screw using the
torque wrench. Make sure that the rear
derailleur stop sits at the derailleur hanger
stop. Hold the derailleur with your second
hand to avoid a twisting of the derailleur and
a gap.
