7.8.1. Creating the Discharge Measurement Summary
Before the Summary is displayed, the
Select Files
dialog (
Figure 7-38
) asks for the measurement
files to process (four in example above). This dialog is also used to select the report style for the
Summary (
Figure 7-39
). The controls and features of the dialog box are:
•
Add Files
– Select the file(s) that will be processed and displayed in the report.
•
Add Folder
– Select an entire RiverSurveyor data folder for processing.
•
Remove
– Removes the highlighted file from the processing list.
•
Measurement Template
– Select the HTML template that will be used to process and display
the measurement data. After a template has been selected, it will become the default. The
standard default template is the file:
Summary-Standard.htm
.

Station Data
– Allows the reloading of Summary reports that were previously saved (via the
Save control on the report;

). The original data files are not needed.
•
Settings
– Sets the options and settings to use for all data files that will be processed and
displayed in the Summary report (
Figure 7-39
). These settings are the same as those used by
the Data Export functions described in §
7.9.1
.

OK
– Processes and displays the Summary report (
Figure 7-39
). If a Summary has not been
loaded or no files are selected, the report will load but will be blank. A warning message
will be displayed for any parameters that may have been changed throughout the measure-
ment (e.g., Magnetic Declination, Mounting Depth, Profiling Range).
•
Cancel
– Exit this operation and return to the RiverSurveyor interface.
